Up the hill, past the chapel and the last of the olive trees, there is a small studio with a wood-fired kiln and a view of the whole bay.

Every plate, bowl and lamp at Salt House was made there, in glazes drawn from the colours of the coast: salt, sand, sea glass and the dark blue of the water at night.
