Slow light
on a quiet coast.

Twelve rooms in a 1931 fisherman’s house, where the day itself is the only thing on the schedule.

I — The House

We built Salt House around a single idea: that a day by the sea needs nothing added to it. Only light, shade, salt and the slow business of time.

Whitewashed stairs in morning shade

Every room faces its own hour of the day.

Thick lime walls, louvred shutters, floors of old terracotta. We restored the house slowly, kept what the sea had already perfected, and changed only what stood between you and the light.

Twelve rooms,
each with its hour.

12:40 — Noon · Out in the light

The long, bright
middle of the day.

At noon the house goes quiet and the coast takes over. Everything we offer is small, unhurried and close by.

Clear turquoise water over rocks in the cove

01

The first swim

The cove is glass until eleven. Towels and a flask of coffee wait on the stone steps from six, and the ladder at the end of the rocks is the best way in.

Daily · from 06:30

02

Out on the llaüt

Our wooden fishing boat takes eight guests along the coast to caves you can only reach by water. Lunch is whatever the line brings up.

03

Salt & stone

A small spa cut into the rock: a warm salt pool, a steam room, and slow treatments made with salt raked from our own pans.

Daily · 11:00 — 20:00

04

A kitchen with the door open

Cook with us in the late morning: tomatoes, oil, bread and the day’s fish. Then eat it all, slowly, under the vine.

Wed · Fri — 11:30
