Ponente opens straight onto the lower garden, where a lemon tree older than the house throws a wide, moving shade across the step. The floors are old terracotta, cool underfoot even in August.
It is the room guests choose when they want to read all afternoon. Leave the garden door open and the room fills with birdsong, citrus and the slow sound of the sea beyond the wall.
