Maestrale wraps around the inner courtyard, where the walls are almost a metre thick and the air stays cool through the hottest hours. The ceilings are vaulted, the light is soft and indirect, and the daybed is generous enough for a long siesta.
A separate sitting room makes it a natural choice for a small family, or for anyone who likes to wake early and read while the house is still asleep.
